Commercial Financing
The governing authority for commercial financing is found in chapter 427.300. In 2024, the registration process for commercial financing entities was transferred to the Division of Finance. There is no licensing nor examination authority in the law. Commercial financing entities must complete the registration form, provide a bond, and pay the required fee to the Missouri Division of Finance prior to entering the business in this state.
