Stanley Promoted to Deputy Commissioner

The Division of Finance’s Chief Examiner of the Banking and Trust Sections, Bart Stanley, has been promoted to the role of Deputy Commissioner by Commissioner Mick Campbell.   Stanley has served as Chief Examiner since July 2022 and has over 34 years of bank regulatory experience, including the last 24 years with the Division of Finance. “Bart’s wealth of bank oversight experience and proven leadership skills makes him a perfect fit for this position,” said Commissioner Campbell.  Stanley added, “I am thankful for the support and opportunity given me by Commissioner Campbell and the rest of my Division colleagues.  I look forward to this expanded leadership role and helping to ensure the state’s financial system remains strong.” Stanley will continue to be responsible for the Chief Examiner’s duties until his replacement is named.
