The Division’s Chief Examiner of the Banking and Trust Sections, Dave Doering, has announced his upcoming retirement. Doering’s last day with the Division will be June 30, 2022. Doering has served as Chief Examiner for the last 9 years and has a combined tenure with the Division that spans 33 years to include time spent as both a Field Examiner and Review Examiner. “I am appreciative of Dave’s extensive and dedicated service to the State of Missouri,” said Acting Commissioner Mick Campbell. “His vast knowledge and experience will be greatly missed, and I wish him well in retirement.”

Upon Doering’s retirement, Bart Stanley will assume the Chief Examiner role. Stanley has more than 21 years of experience with the Division of Finance with 30+ years overall in bank supervision. “Bart’s experience will allow for a seamless transition and continuity as he begins his tenure as Chief Examiner,” said Campbell. Doering and Stanley will be working closely together over the next month until Stanley officially assumes his new role on July 1, 2022.
